Due to public health recommendations to maintain ‘Social Distance’ in hopes of reducing spread of COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the PIE Day event scheduled for Saturday March 14. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We can hopefully present it at a later date, so please watch for a rescheduled event once things get back to normal.

(We will start in the sanctuary at 10:30 with a brief orientation session, watch a skit, and then go downstairs for some actual edible pie (both sweet and savoury). Please sign up if you are thinking of coming, so that we know how much pie to have; sign-up sheets will be out starting the first Sunday in Lent (March 1), or contact Rev. Thérèse.

Background on PIE Day: the name is a pun on the mathematical term pi which is 3.14; March 14 is the 3rd month, 14th day, or 3-14. This will be the second annual United Church PIE Day, where PIE stands for Public, Intentional and Explicit sharing of infomation about LGBTQ+ issues (see https://pieday.ca).)
