It is a great help that Phyllis can run the sound system. Sadly, John can not currently be part of our service streaming, so Phyllis does double duty as lay worship leader and sound tech. That means that she cannot make adjustments as we go during the music, because she is up at the front singing during that time. For recording and live steaming I plug the sound system directly into the iPad headphones/mic jack, and that is why when doing Zoom services we cannot hear what people are saying. It is not the most robust method, but it only cost a $60 piece of equipment to do this, and we have a long cord that John borrowed from a friend to allow me to directly connect the sound board at the back to the iPad which is at the front.
