Featuring Victoria Yeh, Kathryn Tremills, and Kerri McGonigle, Common Threads explores the connections that emerge when three musicians, each with their own musical journey, come together in conversation.
Through works by Dvořák, Schubert, and others, the concert unfolds as a single, uninterrupted journey—without intermission—following the threads that weave together our individual musical paths into one shared conversation.
Music has given me so much throughout my life—not only a profession, but lifelong friendships, purpose, and endless opportunities to keep learning and growing. It has quite literally taken me around the world, while continually inviting me to explore new ideas, new perspectives, and new possibilities. And through all of those travels, there have been common threads—the friendships we return to, the music that connects one part of our lives to another, and the unexpected paths that bring us together again.
These concerts are a celebration of both kinds of journeys—and of the friendships, places, and moments of discovery that connect us along the way.
I hope you’ll join us - and please feel free to forward this email to anyone you think might enjoy the concert.
Warmly,
Kerri McGonigle
