Grace United Church is all about justice work and joyful worship.  Everything we do flows out of our commitment to the call of Christ's spirit in our world.  Your donations help us do this work; without them we could not continue.  We believe in being good stewards of your gifts to us and want to thank you in advance for your generous support of our ministries. 

Below you will find a menu of different ways to give a donation; please choose whatever works best for you in your situation.  In every case, donation receipts will be issued at the close of the calendar year.  Thank you!

Ways to Donate
eTransfer / Pre-Authorised Remittance / On-line Donations / Envelope Offering
eTransfer

Your funds will automatically be deposited to the church bank account. 

  1. Using your online banking account, provide the Grace email:  accounting@graceunitedthornbury.ca 

  2. Indicate the amount to be sent

  3. In the comments section, specify to which fund(s) you would like to donate, such as the General Fund, and/or Mission & Service, and so-on

  4. Include your address for a tax receipt if a first time donor

  5. Funds are immediately deposited to Grace

Grace United PAR Program

The PAR program sends your offering through automatic debit once a month. 

  1. Download, print, and fill in the PAR form found at the bottom of this page

  2. Identify which of the United Church programmes to support ('General Fund', 'Mission & Serivce', 'Other' ie: World Development

  3. The form and a blank voided cheque can be delivered, mailed, or emailed (accounting@graceunitedthornbury.ca) to the Grace Admin office 

Online Donations
With TITHELY

TITHELY allows you are able to make a one-time gift or set up regular monthly donations.  

  1. Use the tab below to set up your contact information for receiving a tax receipt

  2. Provide the amount you want to donate

  3. Include what you are donating to, for example a memorial gift, or a donation at Christmas, or your monthly contribution to the General Fund

  4. There is a TITHELY service fee deducted from your donation

Offering Envelopes

Offering envelopes are either available in the pews during our Sunday service, or whatever you have on hand at home. 

  1. Leave your donation on the offering plate OR

  2. Mail to Grace United Church, 140 Bruce St. S., Thornbury, ON, N0H 2P0

  3. Include your address on the envelope
