The TBM Repair Cafe is open on the 4th Saturday of every month (except July, August, and December), 9am - noon, at Grace United Church, 140 Bruce St. South, Thornbury.
Operating under the umbrella of the Green Team, at Grace United Church Thornbury, the TBM Repair Cafe offers area residents the opportunity to bring their broken items to be repaired for free, by community volunteers using their skills to help.
We also share some social time with coffee or a nice cup of tea and cookies.
This endeavour, of lengthening the life of items mended and repaired, brings our community together to help our neighbours and to divert items from our landfill, which also saves taxpayer money.
