A concert in memory of Walter Kornelson will be held at Grace United Church.
For many years, Walter and a group of singers came up to Thornbury to perform a variety of opera arias and ensembles from opera and musical theatre for our community. These popular events were first held at Grace United Church, then the Marsh Street Centre, and eventually in a theatre in Collingwood.
Sadly, Walter passed away just after the lifting of COVID restrictions. Several of the singers and pianists in Walter's stable have initiated performing a concert in tribute to him on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00PM at Grace.
